In our department, there are Sociology Department Master's Programs with Thesis and Women's and Family Studies Department's Non-Thesis Master's programs. The Sociology Thesis Master's program aims to make significant contributions to scientific research, to strengthen the existing cultural texture with social awareness and sensitivity, and to improve the self-development of the students who graduate from the department by increasing their current knowledge and experience.
The primary aim of the Women and Family Studies Master's Program is to develop the expertise of sociology graduates and to bring together those who want to develop their sociological interest and curiosity in a special field such as women and family. This program, which appeals to many departments other than sociology; It is a program for those who want to pursue a career, improve their knowledge and gain expertise in areas such as women and family history, family theories, family problems, women, men, mothers, fathers, children in academia, business world and some public institutions.
